Janet Graham Counselling
I was awarded an Integrative Diploma in Counselling in 2003 and have over ten years' experience of working therapeutically within a variety of settings. Specifically trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), I have a range of skills, all of which are delivered within a humanistic environment.
I have extensive experience of working within a primary care setting (doctor's surgery work). Clients in these environments bring a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, self-esteem problems, family and relationship issues, stress at work, bereavement and anger management problems. I also have experience of working within an organisation which houses young people between 18 and 25 and within an agency that provides counselling for employees of the NHS and the Fire Service, amongst others.
In my private practice, my work has included working as a practitioner providing counselling in relation to the workplace. I can also offer therapeutic support to clients who are suffering with work-related issues.
I became qualified as an Accredited Counsellor with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) in 2008 and work in accordance with their Ethical Framework for Good Practice. I am a UKRCP Registered Independent Counsellor and continue to increase my therapeutic skills and knowledge by regularly attending professional development courses.
I counsel in Wrexham and am available weekdays and evenings, as well as Saturdays. Fees are negotiable. Reduced rates for students and trainee counsellors are available.
